The Burnout

Okay, so I’ve not posted anything on here for some time now, that’s mostly because I’ve recently been dealing with what many in the industry call a burnout, prior to getting my current job I was burning myself out. Only just after getting my current role, to ensure that my technical skills were up to par, I decided to go all out with learning as much as I could take in, as you can imagine, working full time, studying part time, while trying to push yourself constantly, eventually it’s bound to happen.

So, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve begun the recovery process, I’m still going to ease myself in slowly, but I’ve stopped doing projects after working hours & after work, it’s mostly just me relaxing, going to the gym, doing the ironing, etc. Now that I’m back into the swing of things, I’ve decided that I’m going to focus a lot more of my time & energy into the DevOps side of things as that’s currently my biggest weakness with regards to my skills, knowledge & capabilities.
